It would happen in my sleep, falling victim to those dreams, the world slip away and strip me of what I had seen
And I began to believe in these visions so frightening, trying just to wake myself and set the truth free
I needed to know which direction to go, which way would wake me up and take me back home
I needed to let go but of what I didn't know, I was fighting something built inside of me

And maybe it's all inside of my head
Or maybe, just maybe it's the truth instead
But I don't know how to tell what's right and what's not anymore

And I've begun to see all the reasons I believed in visions only made clear to me in my dreams
